Mazda CX-3: When Driving / Power Steering
- Power steering is only operable when
the engine is running. If the engine is off
or if the power steering system is
inoperable, you can still steer, but it
requires more physical effort.
If the steering feels stiffer than usual
during normal driving or the steering
vibrates, consult an Authorized Mazda
Dealer.
- The warning light notifies the driver of
system abnormalities and operation
conditions.
In addition, the buzzer may also activate
depending on the system abnormality or
operation condition.
Refer to Stop Vehicle in Safe Place
Immediately on page 7-26.
Refer to Power Steering Warning.
CAUTION
Never hold the steering wheel to the
extreme left or right for more than 5
seconds with the engine running. This
could damage the power steering system.
i-ACTIV AWD Operation (Some models)
AWD provides excellent drivability on
snow-covered and ice-packed roads, sand
and mud, as well as on steep slopes and
other slippery surfaces...

The fuel gauge shows approximately how
much fuel is remaining in the tank when
the ignition is switched ON. We
recommend keeping the tank over 1/4 full.
If the low fuel warning light illuminates or
the fuel level is very low, refuel as soon as
possible.
If inconsistency in engine performance or
stalling occurs due to low fuel level
conditions, refuel the vehicle as soon as possible and add at least 10 L (2.7 US
gal,
2.2 Imp gal) of fuel.
Refer to Taking Action.
